Case Studies

Project Overview

The client was experiencing poor drainage and surface water build-up in their garden, particularly after heavy rainfall. Our team was asked to design and install a new soakaway system to improve water dispersal and protect the surrounding landscaping.

Our Solution

We excavated and prepared a dedicated soakaway pit, installing high-capacity modular soakaway crates wrapped in a geotextile membrane to prevent soil ingress while maintaining optimal water flow. The system was carefully positioned to ensure effective drainage away from the property’s foundations.

The Result

The new soakaway now provides efficient surface water management, reducing pooling and improving ground stability. The area was reinstated neatly, leaving the garden clean, level, and fully functional.

Outcome

  • Improved drainage performance
  • Reduced risk of water damage
  • Clean, professional finish

Project Overview

The client was experiencing poor surface water drainage and water pooling near the property wall, increasing the risk of damp and foundation issues. Our team was asked to install a new external gully to improve water capture and ensure safe discharge into the existing drainage system.

Our Solution

We carefully excavated the area and installed a new gully unit, connecting it into the existing clay drainage pipe using a flexible coupling to ensure a secure, watertight seal. The gully was levelled precisely to achieve correct fall and efficient water flow, and fitted with a debris trap to help prevent future blockages.

The Result

The new gully now provides reliable surface water collection and directs runoff safely away from the property. The installation improves long-term drainage performance while reducing the risk of water ingress and maintenance issues.

Outcome

  • Improved surface water control
  • Reduced risk of damp and flooding
  • Secure, professional finish
Gully Install

Project Overview

The client reported ongoing drainage issues caused by a damaged section of the underground sewer pipe. Excavation and full pipe replacement would have been disruptive and costly, so our team recommended a no-dig relining solution to restore the integrity of the system with minimal impact to the property.

Our Solution

We accessed the drain via the existing inspection chamber and prepared the damaged section by cleaning and clearing debris. A liner was then inserted and positioned through the affected pipe run. Once in place, the liner was cured to form a new, seamless internal pipe within the original structure, creating a durable, watertight seal and restoring full flow capacity.

The Result

The relined drain now functions as a structurally sound, smooth-flowing pipe without the need for major excavation. The surrounding garden and access areas were left largely undisturbed, saving the client time, cost, and inconvenience.

Outcome

  • Restored structural integrity of the sewer line
  • Reduced risk of future leaks and blockages
  • Minimal disruption to the property
  • Cost-effective alternative to full pipe replacement
